Downloads

On this page, you can download the free trial version of My Roots. Make sure to also download the free My Roots Conversion Utility, which you will need for importing data from a GED file into My Roots, and for exporting My Roots data to a GED file. For information on what to do with these downloads, please see our Getting Started page. For the My Roots Conversion Utility, use either one of the download links.

The trial version of My Roots will let you create or import only 20 people. You can right-click on the Sample GED File below and select to save it to your hard drive. Then you can import the GED file and view the data in the trial version of My Roots. To purchase the registered version of My Roots, please go to the Purchase page.
